Log files - like many web sites, www.technologyuk.net makes use of log files. The information stored in the log files includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the type of web browser you use to visit our site, the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP), a date/time stamp, the URLs of referring and exit pages, and the number of clicks you make. This information allows us to analyse visitor trends, and helps us to administer the site. We do not collect or store any information that can identify you personally, and will never sell any information collected to a third party.

Third-party data collection - at www.technologyuk.net, we do not use cookies, and do not collect any personal data of any kind from visitors to this site. We have in the past used Google Adsense as a means of recouping some of the costs associated with maintaining this (non-profit) website. As of May 25 2018, we have discontinued our use of Adsense, and have also discontinued our use of Google Analytics.

Our decision to end our partnership with Google has been taken for operational reasons related to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on May 25 2018, because we feel that users of our site should be able to make use of the content we have provided without having to consider questions related to data privacy.
